DIY HEADBOARD | FLOATING BEDSIDE TABLES & BENCH

Hello everyone! Today on the blog I'm sharing a few photos of bedroom Spoiled Glam" DIY project. Included are photos of the headboard, floating bedside tables and bench. The wood purchased at Home Depot then hand painted.Lighting on the the shelf attached to the headboard are battery-operated tap lights and are very easy to install. The headboard is screwed directly on the wall and can be easily removed and relocated if needed. To cap off the bed the team created a bench; which only took about 15 mins to build. A new bedroom makeover doesn't have to be complicated. A few choice ideas may be all that is needed. Next up: installation of the right side floating bedside table. Come back soon to see the completed space.

2016 Color of The Year

Happy New Year readers I miss you!

OMG 2016 is that you? Where have you been this past year? Obviously busy planning awesome things for my arrival. So much has happened since the new year! I am finally able to sit down and make my first blog of the new year awe shucks. One of the most exciting things that ended 2015 with a bang is a Facebook I created called "Black Female Interior Designers". Once the new year hit the number of request to join the group started to take off. Having such a group has become a huge inspiration to myself and the women in this group. I will share with you all more in depth about BFID but for now I wanted to share with you two trending colors in the interior design world for 2016.

Without further wait I bring to you Rose quartz and serenity blue Pantone colors of the year for 2016. These colors were inspired by gender as if you couldn't pick up on that right? I am excited to pose one or both of these beautiful colors in well thought out decor clients and myself. Below you will find a few inspiration photos to you get pumped with me! So far these are just a few of my own online favorites.

Don't get nervous when you see pink as it is no longer just used in baby nurseries or little girls room. Adults are taking back this soft subdued color and giving it a makeover. Don't worry guys you can now enjoy serenity blue like a man I tell ya. We all know trends leave the home and become part of our personal look. Add a blue tie or blue button up to show your support! Those blue sheets you always wanted to buy for your bed and still look cool for the ladies, well you can do it now to impress them. Look around online fore more inspiration photos and see what's trending.

Currently I am working on my very own bedroom makeover using rose quartz and in blogs to come I will update you on my look. Enjoy the inspiration photos below and Happy New Year to you and yours again.

Winter Tablescape ideas 2015-2016

HAPPY NEW "ALMOST" YEAR!!

Hey everyone the New Year is fast approaching but before we kick 2015 out of here let us view this awesome winter table-scape that I just finished designing for my family. The inspiration came from my awesome facebook group "Black Female Interior Designers". I created this group in Sept 2015 to connect all African American interior designers together to meet one another to build a special designer's bond. Last month our group did an awesome job for our "Fall Table-Scape" so of course we had to keep the trend going. This month was dedicated to Winter as we see it in our homes. Lots of people around the globe like myself do not participate in Christmas. However, many of the ladies in our group celebrate holidays so they decided to keep with their family tradition and what a love and creative job they did. Below are photos from my "Winter Table-Scape" for 2015 I hope you enjoy and be inspired.

HOME OFFICE CHALLENGES

A long lost project that has finally gotten some of my attention. It is so very difficult trying to complete a project at home and not having all of the right tools to get it done. I was on a super, super mall budget and finally manage to first create the vision and than execute it. With a few small sample size bottles of paint, a can of spray paint, a free computer desk, some old books, scrap wood from Home Depot, and a few decorative pieces from home, I made it happen.

There's nothing more pleasurable than making a great project come to life on such a small budget. When I have lots of time to think about it, I can truly make it happen. In my own space I get to be a little lazy and not have the pressure of having to make a deadline. However, if I look at my space long enough the vision will come to light and in that very moment I have to start working on it. During those times I may not have every little thing I need to get it complete; nevertheless that doesn't stop me from getting started. A home office may sound like a simple task to start at first. Once you get into the need and the true purpose of the space it can go from easy task to not so easy task just like that. My personal needs weren't that demanding yet they were very important to my personal growth.

Take a look at the pictures I've shared and share with me your personal experiences and any challenges you might've have creating your home office. These are a few pictures of the process so far and it's coming along very nicely. The other colors will be applied in the next few weeks so stay so be sure to check back for update photos.

The 60-30-10 Rule

SET DECORATOR | SCENIC ARTIST | INTERIOR DESIGNER - RAQUEL JACKSON, ATLANTA, GA

Do you know the 60-30-10 rules?  Learn them and then occasionally break them! What's that you ask? It's a formula from interior design experts: 60 percent of the room should be a dominate color, 30 percent of the room should be your attribute secondary color and 10 percent of the room should be an accent color such as accessories like wall art and a vase. Why? In every well decorated space there should be a level of balance that allows the eye to dance around that space comfortably; engaging from one focal to the next. Still confused?

Let's take this guy for example...

  • 60% of his suit is navy
  • 30% of his tie is scarlet
  • 10% of his accents are kiwi

Now, continue to do the same thing with this space. This time you give me answer to the question below in the comments. I would love to see how good you are at this just from the above example.

  • 60% of this room is?
  • 30% of the room are shades of?
  • 10% of the the room is?

The dominate color's job is to stand out by giving the room a particular mood or feeling. Your visual pallet will begin to tie the look together by adding the next step in your secondary color. This will then created a visual contrast between the two.

Helpful?

I enjoy breaking the rules so don't feel locked in to this step by step. However, do use this method to help you achieve a balance look especially for beginners. The decorating rules are constantly being broken as new creative designers pose their visual luxury gift on our eyes.

Face Your Window Treatment Fears Raquel's Method

SET DECORATOR | SCENIC ARTIST | INTERIOR DESIGNER - RAQUEL JACKSON, ATLANTA, GA

Have you ever felt overwhelmed with the amount of fabric choices that are out there? How about walking into a professional window treatment store and feeling a little anxiety with all the choices? Oh, you have felt this way? Don't worry. Every home makeover project can bring on a level of stress, no matter how big or small the project. In some cases there are so many other decisions to be made in a small amount of time that has nothing to do with window treatments. For example,

  • What color should the walls be?
  • What accent pieces do I purchase?
  • Will I like my choices?

All are valid questions and concerns

~Working with a professional can take loads of stress off your hands, but not everyone can invest in professional interior design services. Wouldn't you like to work like a pro and feel confident about the design choices you make? Of course you would!

With these few rules allow me to make decision making much easier for you. Together we will put the fun back into your project. With all the stress of our busy lives outside of our homes, who would want to come home to a space that isn't loving, or inviting? One element of your home and focal point will be your window treatment. Since there are so many different patterns, textures and colors to choose from how do you narrow it down to the best choice?

  • Color
  • Texture
  • Purpose
~Notes: How to stress yourself out even more Dos and Don'ts! Don't give yourself a hundred options because you will then leave yourself making a hundred decisions. Do discipline yourself and narrow it down with just a few of your favorite choices.

Address your concerns:
  • How much maintenance is involved in the choices I make?
Cotton fabrics are easy to clean while heavier fabrics involve a little more work. Sheer curtains are one of my favorites but lack privacy; wools have the perfect weight to them and of course great for embellishments. Last but not lease most blinds are easy to clean.

Great notes right?

Now that we've gotten that out the way we can now go window treatment browsing. Keep in mind you don't have to buy right away, especially for those of you who are shopping for customized drapery. Take a friend with you who has great taste. If time isn't on your side, order swatches online from a design brand with excellent ratings.

Most sites offer 5-10 pieces of free swatches and any additional swatches can cost from $1 and up. The key decision word here is to limit the amount of swatches you request in order to avoid feeling overwhelmed. All of them will look beautiful to you; so remember what I said in my NOTES above about limiting the amount of options. Most swatches take just a few days to be delivered to your home so relax and take it easy.

One of my favorite stores for window treatment is The Shade Store www.theshadestore.com here are a few screen shots from their website. I love how they send a catalog along with their swatches and how professional they are. Very easy checkout process and you can speak with a live person for additional questions.

With just a few day gone by your watches have finally arrived in the mail now what?

Fabric swatches of any kind are just like paint; well sorta. There are two ways you can go about making the best paint choice.  Some people prefer to p
aint directly on the wall for a much bolder view while others tape their paint swatches to the wall. There's no wrong or right way about doing this. However, painting directly on the wall will give you a much boarder view than small paint swatches.

In this case windows are your project so apply the same method. Tape your swatches to your window. This will provide a great visual as to how much light you desire from your selection. The same rule applies for any black-out shade. When night falls turn on the lights inside the room where your swatches are hung. Take a walk outside on your porch to determine the amount of privacy you'll get by comparing fabrics.

I hope this blog provided you with much needed information in addition to making your life a little bit happier and stress free.  After taking my advice and making your final decision I'm sure your project will be a total success. Check out my other blogs for more help with other projects!

Raquel's Home Staging Secrets

SET DECORATOR | SCENIC ARTIST | INTERIOR DESIGNER - RAQUEL JACKSON, ATLANTA, GA

Raquel's Home Staging Secrets

Expose your home's strengths and take the focus off any of it's weaknesses and let your potential buyer or renter be allured by your hard work.

Home Staging Color Choices

Every home has it's own personality which includes a number of key components that are very identifiable to the eye. Color is one of those key components that gives your home strength and personality, which clients love. Everything from the paint choice/s on the walls to the decor pillows and throws tells an inviting story that is yet to come. Pick three color combinations for a room, a neutral color, a pop color and a mid tone. Your large furniture pieces can be neutral colors and your accent pieces can be mid tones and your decor pieces can pop with color.

{In my profession as a set decorator I have staged many looks for television and one key note from one of my recently project is to create a room with depth so that on camera things don't look flat.}

Home Staging Clutter Free

No one likes a cluttered space and be mindful that your open house guest previous home may be cluttered so keep in mind your goal is for a visual fresh start. Organizing staging is another key component to any future home owner/renter. Remember you are the expert or at least they will think you are and it's your job to show them how to love your clutter free home.

Less is always more so throw out all of your old belongings as it is not what they came to see. An open house is an OPEN HOUSE be ready for your home's privacy to be no more. People love viewing every corner of their future investment so don't be shocked when they open cabinets, toilet seats, laundry room and bedroom closets.

Home Staging Room Depth

Furniture on walls yes or no?  Staging room depth in your living room should be a walkthrough "gallery" with no hassle. Most mistakes homeowners/renters make when decorating is purchasing furniture that is too big for a space. They then make the mistake of placing everything close to the walls to make it more open; so they think.  Adding a love seat, a few accent chairs, coffee table, and an end table or two is all your space needs. Give your open house a visual that is remembered instead of talking about all the multiple things they didn't like. Don't lose the comfort of the look by not thinking it thoroughly DO NOT be fearful of creative change.

Give or take the size of the average living room space most people will admit to purchasing items that overpower their space. When you take your furniture off the walls it gives your space more options and most of all an open and inviting floor plan. Spending money on a huge living room set can be very pricy and one demential so try accent chairs as another decorating option.

Home Staging Floating Furniture

Take your furniture to different heights to create more space and clean lines. Wall shelving is one way to gain a clean and sleek look for your open house. Take out the huge entertainment set and upgrade your home with a more modern floating choice.

Home Staging Wall Space & Accents

A warm Foyer or passing wall is always inviting during an open house we can all admit to that. From the moment your future homeowners/renters walk through the doors or while walking from one room to another something should grab their attention right away. Choosing colors and accents that say welcome home are what you want to achieve. Remember less is more when adding accents don't be overbearing just because you fell in love with 5 vases for one table. A couple of accent pieces and a statement piece on a table can say much more than a multiple jungle of assortments.

{A chandelier or wall art will gravitate their attention with a sense of security and reassurance that this could actually be their future home.}

Home Staging Repurpose For More Options

Turn a guest room into a small work area space instead of using all bedroom furniture. You can add a desk and accents with a few house plants and serve a wider vision for this potential space.  Some home buyers aren't particularly looking for bedroom space or money to invest in a complete bedroom set. Each room must be functional so that buyers can have more options in addition to feeling like they're getting more for their bucks.

Home Staging With Plants

Decorating with plants isn't as hard as you may think. However, you must be wise about your choices. Ikea has lovely green fake plants which looks lovely in every room of the house. If you must and can't live without plants for your staging I would suggest using succulents because they last much longer and require very little attention. Color choices for a vase is everything; it can either ruin the look or make it look amazing. Succulents are also year round plants and would pose as no threat to any season of your sale.

Home Staging With Lighting

Coming from the theatre world, I know how much lighting is very important to every show. Your open house is your show believe it or not. Featuring your living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, bedrooms etc. What makes a living room warm, a kitchen clean, and a bathroom refreshed is the amount of lighting that takes up that space. I for one am not a huge fan of ceiling lights (globe lights) but with the right balance between floor and table lamps you can then appreciate the softness or brightness of your choice.

100 watts every 50 sq ft is an accurate amount of lighting that should evenly balance a room. When you think about accent lights such as bed side lamps what are you normally doing when that light is on? Reading a book and or watching the TV? Entertainment lighting is different from mood lighting in a home. During your open house most people want to see how much natural lighting is available in a home which also keeps the cost of the electric bill down. However, during an open house turn on the lights and showcase how beautiful the home is all together.

Home Staging With Black

Yes why not just go for it; black helps to balance the world just look at outer space and all the galaxies in that space. That darkness helps to define what's in that space it also takes the focus off everything that's in that space at the same time. The balance with decorating with black especially for staging is to control what people see when they walk into that space. A simple black vase or lampshade in a room with bright colors tells the eye what to focus on.

Staging With Ghost Chairs & Dowel Leg Chairs

Thank me latter on this one but I have a love for these chairs and the statement that they both make. Keep in mind these chairs can be a little pricy ranging from $100 and up however you don't have to purchase a dozen of these to get the desired look. Every home staging should have one of these beauties in it. When staging thinking about the latest decor styles in your area and what that may possibly mean to the potential home owner. Hopefully they will be thrilled and excited about the new visual decor upgrades.

{Knowing what other realtors are adverting you can get ahead of the game and most importantly setting yourself aside from the others and making room for a fast sale. Dress it up like you see in all the magazines with a little piece of faux fur and you're for sure to sell that room.}

Home Staging Corner Spaces

Think about all the possibilities that one corner can add to your open house. In your home pick out an accent piece and relocate it to a new space. Don't be afraid of change trust me your open house will be a success and it helps to keep their minds off the paper work. Corner spaces should tell a short story or pose as a quick thought of what that corner means in that space. Some corner spaces are for sitting and reading while others are created just for a good looking corner. Think about your grandparents home...where was the phone located? Perhaps on a table in a corner...Think about what that corner meant to them.

Q&A

Q: Do I have to use my own furniture to stage a house?
A: Not if you don't want to. However, you can if you feel confident that what you own is stage ready and appropriate.

Q: What if someone wants to keep all the staging furniture?
A: You have to decide if that's something you would like to do. Some staging is just for a visual and other staging is an optional purchase from the potential home buyer. Is it important for you to decided before staging if that is something you wish to do. Add up all the cost and add it to the listing price of the home as an additional option.

Q: Where should I shop for staging furniture?
A: Your best bet is to shop at places with an excellent return policy. If your home is sold less than 90 days and the furniture and or decor you purchased is not sold with the house you can then return at no  cost to you....be sure to keep ALL of your receipts.

Remember to take down any important note from your open house and feel confident in your work. You won't be able to please everyone who walks through the door but rest a sure that someone will fall in love with your hard work.  There are somethings you may have overlooked so be sure to hear out your potential clients request in order to close on the deal. For example, if your home doesn't come with a washer or dryer. Are you willing to put in the extra upgrade to close on the deal? Remember, I'm always for hire. The contact information is below!

Repurposed Room and DIY ideas

Hello everyone!!

Repurposed room? Yes it's possible to do...not only things get repurposed but rooms do as well. Today I got busy repurposing my family room that I previously used as a dining room turned now into living room. Did you catch that? Okay read it again. Here are some photos enjoy! So many photos I didn't want to make them large so that they wouldn't take forever to load. Click on any of the photos to enlarge them. Send me some feedback would love to hear from you all.

I used a picture frame that I purchased at Last Change thrift store in GA. The roses are from a number of occasions my daughter's graduation, her recent baby shower and roses from my honey's garden that he hand picked for me on Love Day in 2014. I used the leftover clothes pins from the baby shower game to hang the roses on the picture frame wire. Look how cool and classy this looks...I just came up with the idea while redecorating this room and BOOM something awesome happened. I also used a frame that the purchased at the same store some months back and used it as a frame around the flat screen...scroll down for picture. Some of the other decor you may have noticed from previous blogs I've posted.

In The Heights musical | Set Decorator & Prop Master

Hello decorators!

BEFORE & AFTER REVEAL!! Working on In The Heights musical has had its many challenges throughout the whole production. What continued to keep me calm is to see my vision come to life.
Set decorating has never been so exciting for me....As set decorator and prop master there are always pieces I enjoy doing the most.
I must say that decorating this BODEGA was my most favorite experience.
Shopping for the store was much fun!!! I went into a wholesale candy store and felt like a total kid. All the elements in this store on the set are real I tell ha. Everything from the cold items in the refrigerator, the chips around the countertop, to the maxi pads and hanging socks from the Christmas lights.

Picture Framing for Wall Decor

Hello everyone!

When I have a great idea I just run with it and make it happen right away. Take a look at all these wonderful picture framing ideas that I came up with for wall decor around my home. The first set of pictures are frames in my 1/2 bath on the main level. The second set of pictures are of the main hallway right outside of the 1/2 bathroom. The last set of pictures are of the dining room wall.

This is a super DIY project and the ideas are endless. Add frames of all shapes, designs, sizes and colors. You don't have to go out and purchase expensive framing for walls. Try your local Walmart, Target, HomeDepot, or thrift store and find the right frame that fits your project. Get creative and add mirror, door nobs, photos, glass or whatever your mind can come up with. What ever you do just have fun with it and make it uniquely yours. Sophistication, artistic, classy, rustic, or simple it doesn't matter just make it stand out in a way that fits your home and lifestyle.

My Accidental Trip to Abaca Imports

Hello everyone!

While on vacation in Washington, DC I was invited by my partner in love to go see his show Bessie's Blues at Metro Stage. I arrived early to the theatre but next door to the theatre was a place where I could not only kill some time but discover a new place to shop. I walked into this unknown store called Abaca Imports and was totally in love. I noticed it first when I got out of the cab but it was dark out and I couldn't really make out what this place was. Not to mention I was in an unknown part of town that I've never visited before and the store was in a residential neighborhood and not a furniture district. Before stepping into the theatre I decided to just walk on in the store after seeing all the lovely patio future outside.  It was about 7:10p and the show started at 8p I was early anyhow and this would be a perfect time to take a look at this place before it closed.

I walked into the store and again I was stunned at the lightness and texture of just everything!!! The two gentleman offered me something to drink...a glass of white, red wine, bottled water and so forth. At first I said no thank you than by the time the second guy asked me I said what they hey sure thing. I told him to surprise me and that's exactly what he did as he handed me a glass of red wine. Such a perfect way to get my evening started before the show and it didn't hurt with all this fine eye candy decor all over the place.

Abaca Imports has everything from outdoor patio furniture to earrings and scarfs. One of the pieces that I loved was the fireplace which you don't see much here in America. The glass fireplace was a great conversation piece which can be used indoors or outdoors. As the moments went by the flames grew taller and taller and how mesmerizing it was to watch.

I have always loved to decorate with Chinese art and designs in the past. I still have parts of that Asian culture decorated throughout my home. I didn't have much time to enjoy every little detail of everything they sold but I must say that what I did see what very impress with. Current project

Hello everyone!

The set I designed for "............" (Reality TV secret) is coming along. Although it's not complete I couldn't help myself last night and started "dressing"...I just had to get a little visual, just a tad. I can't wait to share with you all the finish product in a few weeks. My iPhone 4s sucks but it's okay because once the project is complete we'll all have the perfect view! I designed this multi purpose turntable wall which is 1 of two and yet it's going to look amazing once it's complete. More updates stay tuned. Scroll down check out some of the pieces I purchased for the set.

Intimate Wedding Planning

Hello everyone!!

Wedding planing what a BIG JOB! No one ever told me how much work is put into such an event no matter what the size of the wedding party is. I am truly excited about my special day of course and nervous all at the same time. This once in a lifetime experience deserves to be one that I (we) will never forget. This is going to be our first wedding (both his and mine). My thyme is based off of our intimate and most memorable moments with one another. Of course you guys have no clue as to what I mean by it and that's the whole point. On our wedding day I will invite my closes friends and family into a world which is rarely exposed in the public. Our wedding will be surrounded with romance & love chaperon by intimacy and memorable moments.

The colors I have chosen were inspired by the 2nd and the 4th photo. These colors really speak to me in a very private and intimate way. Both romanic and symbolic to me when I think of my honey and the moments we spend together. He's a gentle man with a loving heart and every moment he always reminds me that he loves me and how happy I make him feel. Together we are truly the definition of "lovebirds" I must say. I call Tom "my hero" because he always manages to save my heart over and over again. When I'm having a bad day or simply worrying about something he always manages to take my mind away from it. Tom enjoys nature and getting away as much and I do, I love how he's always ready to jump in the car and just go for a drive.

Our favorite little getaway is Amacolola falls about two hours north of Atlanta. One day Tom decide to go for a drive to see the mountains.  All he mentioned was "we're going north to the North GA Mountains". Nervous a little after driving for about 40 mins and no mountains I decided to just look on my GPS for the nearest mountain. An hour later after following the directions of my GPS we arrived in the Appalachian mountains. My oh my it was so beautiful and so breath taking we just fail in love totally with the nature around us. We were like little kids in the car saying "OmG look at that", and "WOW" and a whole lot of ooows and ahhs lol.

The first time we visited the mountains we drove up and down the mountains and never got out of the car. I had plans to get out and walk around to do some sight seeing in nature but Tom stated "no I said we were driving to the mountains". A little pouty for a second but then he quickly reminded me that it didn't matter that we didn't get out to look around. What matter is that we were together enjoying drive for the first time and that we can always come back to enjoy it outside of the car. Tom a man of his world a month later we arrived back and this time we went hiking up to the top of Amacolola Falls. A breathtaking moment you wouldn't believe how beautiful the hike was and how exhausted we were. We climbed about 6oo+ stairs to get to the top of the falls.

After our long and beautiful day of hiking we drove to the top of the mountain to the Amacolola Falls hotel. Once inside the entrance lounge we walked up on this huge glass window over looking the mountain and just couldn't believe our eyes. WHAT A VIEW!!!! We then sat down and had lunch in the restaurant with a mountain view just more beauty to add to our beautiful day. Since the summer we stayed over night there twice and each time our experience just got better and better. One of the things we had a chance to see was their banquet area and where weddings are held outside on the stoned balcony. From that moment I knew what I wanted the atmosphere of our wedding to be like. Each moment we have like that one we both fall in love again and again and those are the most memorable moments that would make anyone fall in love continuously.

My first thought was to have a private wedding at the top of the falls with just him and I and just a few loving witness. My second thought is to have an outdoor wedding here in Atlanta someplace beautiful to fit my vision. I may need your help in deciding which way to go with this which means that your comments are very important to me ;). Part of me would like for our memories of the falls to be just our romantic getaway and not so much a reminder each time of were we got married. I'm a little mixed up about it all although I told you this romantic story I still need help deciding which way to go. Wedding planning is fun but it's also exhausting when you're trying to find the perfect peace to have such a once in a lifetime ceremony.

"When is the wedding?"...I simply tell them it's when the time is right, the right people who will be there will know when it is <3

Celebrate you every day and don't worry about people understanding your celebrations.

Equipose Designs & Nicki Minaj New Vogue Italia Spread (PHOTOS)

Hello everyone!

Nicki Minaj Slays In New Vogue Italia Spread very beautiful Nick. Sometimes outer interior decorating of the body is as important as interior decorating of a room. All you need is the right designer to make you look fabulous! Nicki loves dressing up we all can contest to that but sometimes her video clothes aren't always the latest fashion trend I'm going to guess because of the lack of coverage it fails to provide. Interior decorating has no limits and serves as many titles. You call it fashion stylist, wardrobe designer, clothing stylist and I call it interior decorating. I was shocked to see this rolling down my timeline after just watching Nicki play Beyonce on SNL. It went from 0-100 real quick and it just goes to show you that it's all about the designer behind it all.

I'm sure Nicki gets her self dressed in the morning and possibly have lots of input on what to wear in her videos but this spread from Vogue says she had nothing to do with nothing. It's a beautiful thing to see nothing turn into something no pun intended. Its like an empty room that's screaming for decor from the walls to the floor. One can't help but to lend a creative hand and get busy making it look fabulous. Then there's a different swing on things when you have a beautiful house and poor dressed decor. In the fashion world especially Vogue Italia there's a unique creative designing that has to play in each spread. Imagine if Vogue Italia took all the ratchet people and turned them into models what wonderful designs would they come up with?

I wonder who you all would like to see in the industry to truly get a makeover by Vogue? I'm sure little Kim is on that list and Iggy however one way or another but all of these women have something beautiful in common. The common factor here is that it's not their fault that they don't separate trashy fashion from runway fashion. Over the years Kim has worn some wigs and clothes that make you want to just slap the TV. However time does bring about change and she has gotten a whole lot bette but it's still strange adjusting to her new look if you know what I mean. Some people just don't know how to fire their interior decorator if yo know what I mean.

Back to the subject at hand...

Nicki you truly look beautiful in these shots and I would love to see more of this side of you. I love it that they made her hips look smaller and her breast. Nothing here says let me hit that in an inappropriate way so guys I'm sorry if you don't like this side of her. This look is sexy, fun, creative and classy and for me this speaks more to me than any and all of her lyrics. Enjoy these photos I adore the Vegas showgirl, the mens suit hell all of the looks!
